メタバース「VRChat」デビューしました！
（I made my debut in the metaverse, VRChat!）

これまで「cluster」という日本発のメタバースは体験していたのですが、アメリカに拠点を置くメタバース「VRChat」は初めてでした！

まだ数時間プレイしただけなので、あくまで初心者目線での感想ですが、特徴は下記でした！

 

【VRChatの特徴（対cluster比較）】

（１）集まっているワールドもアバターも、それを使用する人たちの技術・知識も全てのレベルが高い。

（２）参加人口が多い。「親切で良い人」も、「根拠のないイチャモンを言う悪い人」もいました。

（３）PCの性能が高い必要がある。私は、とあるワールドへの移動時に3回アプリが落ちました。

（４）「文字SNS」と「現実の人間関係」の中間のような体感。

（５）着ているアバターになっている感覚になる。（不思議）

（６）「メタバース」や「NFT」という単語に拒絶反応を示す層が一定数いる。

 

 

I've experienced the Japanese metaverse called "cluster" before, but this was my first time with the US-based metaverse "VRChat"!

I've only been playing for a few hours, so this is just my impression from a beginner's perspective, but the features were as follows!

 

【VRChat features (vs. cluster)】

(1) The worlds and avatars that are gathered together, and the skills and knowledge of the people who use them, are all of a high level.

(2) There was a large population of participants.There were "good, kind people" and there were "bad people with baseless complaints.

(3) The PC needs to be very powerful. I had the app crash 3 times when moving to a certain world.

(4) It's an experience that's somewhere between "text social networking" and "real-life relationships.

(5) I feel like I'm an avatar wearing it. (Wonder)

(6) There is a certain segment of the population that rejects the words "metaverse" and "NFT."

 

バ美肉の世界を観ました！（in メタバース「cluster」）

別途記事にできる内容なので、簡単に書きますが、

「cluster」は、PC性能が低くても参加しやすいメタバースです。

 

日本語対応もしっかりしているので、日本人初心者にはオススメです！

スマホでも、ある程度は可能らしいですが、私は試したことがありません。

 

加えて、人が多く集まるイベントは、バーチャル空間でも一緒にいる感覚になれるので、面白いですよ！

私も以前は、「メタバース否定派」だったのですが、体感したら一瞬で理解できるはずです！

 

いきなり人に話しかけるのは緊張すると思うので、こういったイベントに参加してみるのは一つの手です！

 

ところでみなさん、「バ美肉（ばびにく）」って、ご存じですか？

バーチャル美少女受肉の略らしいです。

現状では、「中身が男性で、アバターが美少女というパターン」が多いので、それを指すと思われがちですが、正確には、アバターの美少女になりきる行動を指すみたいです。

 

「なりたい自分になる」っていう感じ。

 

ボイスチェンジャーを使っているパターンや、地声を鍛えることで美少女声になっているパターンなど、色々あるみたいです。

その技術説明などがある面白いイベントでした！

The metaverse "cluster" is easy to join even with low PC performance.

 

They've got good Japanese language support, so for a Japanese beginner, I'd say go for it!

I've heard that it is possible to participate to some extent on a smartphone, but I've never tried it.

 

It's funny how events with lots of people can make you feel like you're with them, even in virtual space!

I used to be a "metaverse denier" myself, but once you experience it, you'll instantly understand!

 

I know it can be nerve-wracking to talk to people out of the blue, it's one thing to attend one of these events!

 

By the way, have you ever heard of "Babi-niku"?

It seems to be short for virtual beauty incarnation. (In Japanese.)

Currently, there are a lot of "patterns where the content is male and the avatar is a beautiful girl," so people tend to think that "bami-niku" refers to that, but it seems to be more accurately referring to the action of becoming the beautiful girl in the avatar.

 

It's like, "I'm going to be who I want to be".

 

There seems to be a variety of patterns, such as using a voice changer or training your natural voice to become a beautiful girl's voice.

It was an interesting event with its technical explanations and all!
